Established in 2003 Bulavista Kennels is situated on 6 lovely acres amongst the beautiful vineyard areas of the Mornington Peninsula and only a couple of minutes to the pristine sandy white beaches that stretch along the Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. 

 We are a small select kennel breeding only occassionally and breeding for excellence, soundness and temperament.  We choose to breed only when we want something for ourselves and are very particular that our babies are placed in the best possible forever loving homes.  Our dogs are shown regularly and are winners in both "All Breed" and "Speciality" shows.  All our dogs are hip Xrayed and elbow scored before we plan to breed with them.

 Our love for the breed began in 1999 when our first Bullmastiff "Kasey" entered our life and from then on we realised this was the breed for us.  Kasey was shown to her title and is now retired and living a life of luxury.

Most Bullmastiff owners know that this breed is VERY addictive and you can't stop at one.  Our four legged family has grown considerably since those earlier days and with the addition of our beautiful foundation bitch "Millie" (Millicent) " BISS Ch. Bulltiful Curtain Call" who entered our life and came to live with us at the end of 2003, when in April 2004 she produced our first litter of 11 babies under the Bulavista prefix. This litter was from imported frozen semen from the USA and with the help and guideance from John & Jessamy Morrissey (then Bulltiful Bullmastiffs) Bulavista continued that Bulltiful dream. This litter produced four Australian Champions who have all been shown regularly and all done extremely well in the ring, with a brother and sister both being RUBISS winners and now a grand daughter also adding to the RUBISS winners list.

 We have since bred two more litters from frozen semen from the USA and have been very fortunate that we have been able to travel to the States and to Europe and meet with friends we have made through our dogs,  and also be able to see in the flesh the sire of our next planned litter. It was wonderful to be able to cuddle and pat this very special boy.

We are members of the Victorian Canine Association, The Bullmastiff club of NSW, The All Mastiff Breeds of Vic and The Bullmastiff Club of Victoria where Vaughan is President and Sue has been on the committee for the past few years

  We are at shows most weekends where we enjoy the company of friends and most of all spending time with our dogs.  Feel free to come up and say "hello" to our four legged family and any questions you may have on this wonderful breed,  we are always happy to answer.

Our latest addition to the family, "MANEROO LUE" 

After a very successful racing career,  Lue retired from racing in 2008 and came to join us here at Bulavista.  He is a much loved member of our family and we are grateful to David, (his previous owner and trainer" for allowing Lue to become a special part of our lives. He brings a smile to our face every day.
